Russell Calvin Bales III
1963-2021

Russell C. Bales III, 57, escaped this mortal realm on Wednesday February 24th, 2021. He has been known by many names. A few were Rusty, Russ, Russell T. (Because he absolutely hated his middle name.) Daddy Fix and Boy Genius.

Russ was born August 17th, 1963 at Ft. Campbell, KY. The first of three children born to Russell C. Bales, Jr. and Patricia Ann Reeves Webb. He graduated from Northwest High School, class of 1981, in Clarksville, TN and was self employed. Russ enjoyed collecting so many things, some included comic books, coins, silver, ugly lamps and extra ugly hats. He was an avid reader and quickly stashed away any book he got his hands on. He also loved vinyl records and collected over 1000 albums. Russ enjoyed the Arts and entered multiple Art exhibitions in Clarksville. At Riverfest 2014 Russ won first place in the 3-D/Fiber Art category. He named his entry "Go Baby Go". When asked to price his art work for sale, he stepped back and pondered for a moment......... he then priced his work for $143.76, (the amount of his electric bill that was due that Friday) Amazingly EVERYONE of the pieces sold.

Russ is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by five sons, Skyler Bales of Clarksville, TN, Michael Pritzl of Big Rock, TN, Jeremy Atwood of Dover, TN, Ethan and Devon Bales of Palmyra, TN. He also leaves one brother, Todd Bales of Livingston, TX and one sister, Renee Bales Wyatt of Erin, TN. He has three nephews and two nieces, five grandbabies and one on the way.

Rusty died knowing "THE BEATLES " were the best Rock and Roll band EVER ........ with a head nod and honorable mention to The WHO, Kansas and Journey. His regrets were few but included consuming a leafy green substance followed by an immediate facial expression change. He stated " I will NEVER do that again!!!!!". He left behind 42 boxes of VHS tapes. 66 cases of unlabeled "surprise" canned food and multitudes of other random items that will prove helpful in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse.

Russell will always be remembered as a Unique Individual that absolutely marched to the beat of his own drum.

A memorial celebration of Life service (aka Party) will be held in the near future and in a style that Russell would be proud of.

Please visit Russell's tribute wall and leave a memory with the family.
