Robert Allen Christy, Jr.

Robert Allen “Bob” Christy, Jr., age 62, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, February 3, 2022, after a short, but hard fought, battle with lung cancer.

Bob was born on October 7, 1959,  in Columbus, OH. He leaves behind his loving wife, Elaine Ross Christy; parents, Robert A. Christy, Sr. and Judy Lucille Sites Christy of Olive Hill, KY; brother, Paul (Karen) Christy of Pataskala, OH; sister, Carlene Gilley of Sandy Hook, KY; daughters, Michelle Westermann and Melissa Trail of FL; step-children: Robert James of MI, Jeramiah James of Hohenwald, TN, and Sarah (Dennis) Bivins of Greenville, KY; 3 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.

He worked for Sanderson Pipe Corporation as a Production Supervisor for many, many years. He loved riding his Harley, doing yard work, collecting diecast cars and his furbabies (Shadow and Blackjack). He was a kind and compassionate person whom everyone loved. He will be missed by all of his friends and family.

Keeping with his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
