June 24, 1958 ~ February 9, 2022 (age 63)

Obituary

Michael George Bush, 63, took his last breath, with his daughters by his side, on February 9, 2022. He was under the amazing care of Tennova hospice. Michael was born on June 24, 1958.

Michael was a dedicated son, brother, father and grandpa. He was not perfect, but he loved us all more than he loved himself. Michael was the life of the party everywhere he went. He was an amazing dancer and kept everyone laughing all of his life. He loved to fish and spent a lot of time in Florida teaching his granddaughter, Jaelyn, how to fish. He had a very tough exterior, but those who knew him best saw him as a big teddy bear. He started his own repair business in Florida, which helped him live life on his own terms. He also worked at Crossroads Bar, which was his second family. He had a love for riding motorcycles and was so proud when he bought a Harley Davidson. No doubt he is tearing it up in Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his older brother, Joeseph Bush; mother, Marilyn Cucurullo; stepfather, Joseph Cucurullo; stepson, Jusdon Anderson; and his faithful dog, Nugget.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Marilyn (Kevin) Colvin and Amanda Schirtz; stepdaughters, Alta Anderson and Cara Anderson; and his seven grandchildren: Jaelyn Bartusiak, Micah Bartusiak, Kayla Colvin, Mariah Colvin, Kamilla Colvin, Gabriella Colvin, and Kreston Bryant. Last, but certainly not least, he left behind the love of his life, Sheryl Anderson, who brightened his life in ways she never knew.

"Your feet stink and you don’t love the Lord" -The late great Mike Bush.
He used to tell his grandkids this anytime he wanted to make them laugh.

Ride in Peace Dad. We love you.
