Johnny Mitchell Jones

Johnny Mitchell Jones, age 68, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. He was born June 6, 1950 in DeKalb, Illinois. He was the son of John Andrew and Phyllis (Smeathers) Jones who precede him in death. He married Sharon Miller on July 5, 1975 and she survives in Dickson. In addition to his parents, his sister, Linda Bullock precedes him in death.

Other survivors include his son, Daniel (Alissa) Jones; his daughter, Brandy (Dwayne) Metchis;  six grandchildren; and his brother, Rodney Voyles.

Johnny was most well known for his love of entertaining and singing which he enjoyed doing for a majority of his life. In addition he played the guitar and had a love of animals and trains and was an avid collector of trains.
