Helene (Wukits) Pedersen

Helene Pedersen (Wukits), 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Walking Horse Meadows. Helene was born on January 6, 1939 in Austria to the late Heinrich and Theresia Wukits.

In addition to her parents, Helene is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Alf S. Pedersen; one brother; and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Alf J. Pedersen of Clarksville, TN; granddaughter, Brandi Pedersen of Clarksville, TN; step daughters; Ann (Ed) Thomas and Joan (Fred) Carr of CA; sisters,
Gerti Aspromonte of Switzerland and Ustene of Austria; their best friends; Bill and Sue VonKamp of AL; and not only her caregiver, but had become part of the family, Karri Marinko.

Helene spent her life taking care of her family. She had a beautiful smile and a kind heart. Helene and her husband enjoyed their yearly trips to Gatlinburg and Dollywood. She enjoyed every summer planting flowers and looking for four leaf clovers with her granddaughter, Brandi Pedersen.

A Graveside service will be held on March 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
