Gerrad Matthew Martin

Gerrad Matthew Martin, 39, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his residence. He was born on November 3, 1983, in Maui, Hawaii to Elaine Owens and the Late Grady "Marty” Martin, Jr.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, June Harmon and Huge Coyle; paternal grandparents, Grady Martin, Sr. and Mary Moon' and uncle, Gerrad Coyle.

Gerrad is survived by his mother, Elaine Owens of Clarksville, TN; son, Jordan M. Foy-Martin; daughters, Brooklynn M. Martin and Isabella ”Izzy” S. Foy of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Jennifer Owens of Hopkinsville, KY and Tianna Martin (Albert) of Oregon; niece, Kayli Arms; nephew, Kyler Owens of Clarksville, TN; aunts, Jeanette Coyle of Oahu, Hawaii, Rhonda Martin of Bakersfield, CA, and Rhonda (Keith) Bowden of Virginia; great Aunt, Elaine Collins of
Weatherford, Texas; papa, Jimmy Harmon of Manchester, TN; his Scotland and Holland family; many cousins; and extended family and friends.

Gerrad enjoyed being with his kids and his family. He had a such big heart. He could walk into a room and make everyone smile and laugh. He was a jokester and lived life to the fullest. He is dearly loved and will be truly missed.

A celebration of Gerrad’s life will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1 PM at Legacy Baptist Church, 108 Wilson Hollow Road, Indian Mound, TN 37079.
