George Reed Ross
1940-2020

George Reed Ross, age 80 passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at his residence in Stewart, TN.  He was born on February 25, 1940 in Caywood, KY.

George served as a Boatswain in the Navy and he was a Putnam County Deputy Sheriff in Carmel, NY for over 20 years.  Mr. Ross also owned Brewster Garden Center in Brewster, NY.  He and his wife, Pat, moved to Tennessee in 1994 and soon after, started Ross Farms in Waverly, TN; where he started selling tomatoes and other vegetables under the bridge with his grandson, Dale. He had many friends and loved ones that will miss him dearly.  There will be no services held.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia (Carty) Ross; daughter, Janet (KD) Lemons; grandchildren, Janice (Charlie) Albus and Dale (Maricel) Lemons; and great-grandchildren, Tristen Albus, Victoria Albus, Jodi Albus, and Dexter
Lemons.
