Gary Allen Hobson, age 75 of Pleasant View, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at home. He was born on March 13, 1945 to Carl Hobson and Ruth Hobson in Washington state.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cathy Hobson; brother, James Stanley; and many nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family and friends.

As an elder in the Ashland City congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Gary's greatest love was serving God and having the privilege to serve others in the congregation and ministry. Gary not only was a hard worker, he completed every task with joy: floor care as employment, cleaning, designing, building structures, carpentry, making furniture, learning to repair cars, electrical, plumbing, gardening, lawn care, and donating his work to his God and to the community.

Long life gave Gary the opportunity to volunteer at the zoo and lead elephants in parades. He learned to scuba dive, explored ice caves, spelunk, hike mountains, camp, ski, swim, play tennis, become an accomplished artist in many mediums, and enjoyed extensive travel. He shared these many activities with his family and friends.

Gary died a faithful servant of Jehovah God and subject of his son, Jesus Christ. He will be missed until the resurrection.
