Daniel James Lancaster, 67, of Dickson died suddenly at his home on Friday, September 13, 2019.

He was born on March 10, 1952 in Flint, Michigan to John and Betty (Beattie) Lancaster.   Dan was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, and two brother-in-laws.

Dan had a career in business as a Senior Project Manger for Goodyear, Cleveland Cliffs, and Ernst and Young.

Dan deeply loved his wife, Ellen, his two sons, Caleb and David, and his dog, Abe, who reside in Dickson.  He lived a life of devotion to the Lord, a lover of Jesus.  Dan enjoyed gardening, biking, hiking, hunting, cooking, and was an avid reader.

Dan is survived by his siblings Mike (Sandy) Lancaster of Three Rivers MI, Patti (Josie) Lancaster of Terrytown NY, John (Judy) Lancaster of Grand Blanc MI, Marybeth Leet of Flint MI, Cathy (Bob) Roche of Phoenix AZ, Linda (Bob) Carey of Saddle River NJ, and Lori Morison of Gaylord MI.  There are many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2019, at 1:00pm in Dickson TN.
