Christine L. Cook, 70, of Clarksville, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 13th from medical complications.

She was born in September of 1949 to Robert and Marilyn McKnight in Syracuse, NY. Her father, a Master Sergeant in the Air Force, was stationed in a number of places, including the Azores, Newfoundland, and North Dakota. However, she always felt at home when visiting her grandparents in Falmouth, MA. Falmouth is where she graduated from Lawrence High School in 1967. Throughout her life she worked as a bookkeeper and office manager for a number of small businesses.

Christine is remembered by all who met her as a kind and loving person with a heart as big as the ocean. She loved music, both singing and playing piano but the most important to her was her family. She was so proud of her three children and seven grandchildren. They were the light in her life.

Christine is survived by her son Jonathan Cook and his wife Svetlana of Mashpee, MA, daughter Elizabeth Hawes and her husband Simon of Groton, MA and daughter Jennifer Pierce and her husband Timothy of Clarksville, TN. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristina, Justin, James, Allie, Sam, Riley and Daniel; her brother Robert McKnight of Sarasota, FL and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in July on Cape Cod.
