Calvin Lee Loveland

Calvin Lee Loveland, born on February 23, 1976, passed away at Nashville General Hospital at 8:04 PM on October 27, 2021, at the age of 45 years, 8 months, and 4 days. He was the son of Shelby Loveland and the late James "Jim" Howard Loveland of Lebanon, KY.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Barry Deshea Ellis and Kermit Jefferson "Jeff" Hughes. Calvin is survived by his mother, Shelby Loveland of Lebanon, KY; loving fiancé, Stephanie "Gabi" Cook, with whom he shared a home in Clarksville, TN; daughter, Kayla Loveland (fiancé of Alpacino Jones); sons: James "Jamie" Loveland of Campbellsville, KY, Jakob Loveland of Willisburg, KY and Dylan Loveland of Springfield, KY; granddaughter, Caily Jones, who was the apple of his eye, of Bloomfield, KY; sisters, Karen (Ritchie) Royalty of Willisburg, KY and Deidra "Dee" (Tony) Smith of Willisburg, KY. Calvin also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Calvin was a retired sanitation worker, a career that he loved, as well as a devoted KISS fan. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing, guns, GM cars and trucks, riding his motorcycle, spoiling his granddaughter, and relaxing at home with his fiancée and their cat Spooky. He delighted everyone with his wonderful cooking, warm embraces, and hearty jokes. The hugs and laughter of our Gentle Giant, Calvin, will be dearly missed by his many friends and family.

There will be Celebration of Life services in both Kentucky and Tennessee with dates to be announced at a future time.
