1943-2021

Walter William Hefner is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Hefner and Alma Rose Oberdier; brother, Paul Hefner; sister, Martha Hefner; son, John James Hefner and great grandson, Dustin Arnett, Jr.

He is survived by his children, Penny Hefner of Clarksville, TN, Frank (Renee) Hefner of Dola, OH; grandchildren, Mindy (Kyle) Geesaman, Dustin Arnett, Joe (Leanne) Hefner, Kris (Bud) Amos, Natasha Hefner, John Hefner, Jr., Jodi (Chad) Roberts; brothers, Sam Hefner of Clarksville, TN, Wes (Sandy) Hefner of Lafayette, OH, Steve (Nancy) Hefner of Lafayette, OH; sister-in-law, Nadine Hefner Lafayette, OH, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

He was a pro Motor Cross Dirt track racer in the 60’s and 70’s. In the Hall of Fame 1969 & 1970 in Ohio. He was a long time member of the Hog Creek Game Club and the owner of Bill’s Garage in Lafayette, OH. He loved to fish, hunt, drink beer and have fun!

A celebration of life will be at Wize Guys on March 27, 2021 at 3:00 pm.
