Tonya Scholma

It's with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Tonya Scholma, A loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Tonya's life was cut short on September 29th, 2026 due to a fatal car accident on Highway 13.

She was born on July 6th, 1983, in Clarksville TN to Thelma Gant and Richard Latham. Tonya enjoyed mowing the grass, feeding wildlife, and playing with her grandchildren. Tonya most recently worked at Montgomery County Public Library where she met one of her best friends Mary Parham.

She is Survived by her Husband, Donald Scholma; Her children: Alyssa, Briana (Brian), and Cody Scholma; Sister Sheila Gant; and two grandchildren Raeleigh and Ryder Garcia. She is proceeded in death by Her Father Richard Lathang and Mother Thelma Gant.
