Shane Micheal Roberts

Shane Michael Roberts, 50, of Springfield, TN passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2025. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, James Watkins; grandfather, Vernon Roberts; and cousin, Lucas Grubbs. Shane was born on October 29, 1974, in Kansas City, MO.

An artist at heart, Shane spent hours meticulously creating functional and decorative pieces from everyday items. He was fiercely loyal and always ready to tease and joke. He was a loving uncle and older cousin, always ready to entertain and play silly games. His absence will be deeply felt, and he will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Shane is survived by his mother, Jeri A. Watkins of Ainsworth, Nebraska; sister, Crystal Norton; step sisters: Tammy, Marie, Laura, and Tina; grandmother, Susie Roberts; aunts: Bella (Wayne) Gentry, Sabrina (James) Grubbs, and Michelle (Lee) Greseth; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held in Ainsworth, Nebraska, date and time to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or The Ronald McDonald House.
