Sadia Lillian Waikel (Shabarekh)

November 16, 1960 — July 14, 2025

Clarksville

Sadia Lillian Waikel, age 64, passed away on July 14, 2025, at 11:57 AM due to complications from diabetes and other health issues. She was born on November 16, 1960, in Staten Island, New York, to Michael Abdul and Sadia Shabarekh.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sadia Shabarekh; her sons, Adam Rolon and Michael; her grandson, Jayden Rolon-Ekis; and her brother, Michael Abdul. Sadia is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Dustin Waikel; her children: Billy, Evelyn, Genia, and Sadia; her stepchildren, Nikole and Derik; her father, Michael Abdul; her sister, Michele; her brothers: David, Louis, Adam, and Andy Abdul; and her eight beloved grandchildren.

Sadia met her husband, Dustin, through an online spades league, and their connection quickly grew into a deep and lasting love. Together, they built a strong, supportive partnership and created a loving family filled with laughter, resilience, and shared joy. Over the years, they watched their family grow and celebrated the blessing of grandchildren.

Sadia was a loving and devoted wife who found joy in the simple things she shared with Dustin—whether it was playing card games, computer games, or just spending time together. She had a fun, lighthearted spirit and a special love for monkeys, collecting them over the years with pride. One of her favorite running jokes was calling Dustin her “biggest monkey,” always said with a smile and a sparkle in her eye.

Her strength, warmth, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew her.
