Penelope Lue Clapper (Buchanan)

Penelope Lue Clapper, age 72, left this Earth on January 21, 2026. She was born on March 12, 1953 in Windsor, MO to Gary and Viola Marr Buchanan.

She worked for the Air Force Academy commissary for 33 years before retiring.

She is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Devon; granddaughter, Kyliegh; brother, Steve; sister-in-law, Dani; and numerous other family and friends.

Her joy for life attracted many friends. She loved her family and was loved by them as well. She was the love of my life. She will be missed.
