Mary Lou Robbins (Vincent)

Mary Lou Robbins (Vincent), 89, passed away peacefully in Clarksville, Tennessee, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Lou grew up as one of eleven children — nine sisters and one brother. She later moved to California, where she met and married her sweetheart, Johnny, in the early 1960s. Johnny’s career in the U.S. Air Force took them to many remarkable places both overseas and across the United States.

In 1978, they settled in Santa Maria, California, with their two daughters. Johnny passed in 2009 and she moved to Tennessee in 2019.

Mary Lou will be remembered for her intelligence, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor. She had a lifelong love of gardening, crossword puzzles, and true crime shows. She was known for finding a favorite food and enjoying it with delight until she moved on to the next. She loved to travel, take walks with her dogs (and was an avid runner earlier in life). She never met a deal or garage sale she didn’t enjoy.

Above all, Mary Lou treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and daughter, whose love and presence will be deeply missed.

In accordance with her wishes, her ashes will be scattered along the California coast — a place she loved and called home for many years.
