Marilyn Anne Honeycutt (Scott)

Marilyn Anne Honeycutt (Scott), age 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Ashland City, Tennessee, on August 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on December 26, 1946, in Nashville, Tennessee, to William and Margaret (Boyd) Scott. A graduate of East High School in Nashville, Marilyn went on to build a rewarding career as a telecommunications clerk, retiring from AT&T after 40 years of dedicated service.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her brother, John Scott and niece, Jennifer Burkhardt.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Jackie Honeycutt; children, Scott (Ann Delones) Honeycutt of Charlotte, TN, and Tracy (Michael) Crowley of Ashland City, TN; grandchildren: Jessica (Weston) Bradley, Nathan Escue, Brooke (Ricky) Allen, Justin Crowley, Joshua Honeycutt, and Colson Crowley; great-granddaughters, Luna Bradley and Evelyn Allen; and sister-in-law, Mary Scott.

In accordance with Marilyn’s wishes, no public services will be held.
