Marianne Elisabeth Minaglia (Schmitt)

Marianne Elisabeth Minaglia (Schmitt) went to be with the Lord while at Tristar Medical Center on Mothers Day, May 10, 2026 after a battle with cancer and other health complications. She was born October 25,1954 in Landstuhl Germany and moved to the states as a young child. She grew up in Chicago, IL where she was raised by Henry and Marianne Schmitt.

She married her late husband Ronald Minaglia in 1982 and is survived by four children: Jennie Schmitt, Krissy Minaglia, Mike (Amy) Minaglia and Joe Minaglia. She is also survived by one grandchild: Damon Minaglia.

She will always be known for her sense of humor that extended to everyone she knew. She had a childlike heart, pure and playful, and cared about the whole world which was evident in her prayers. She will be missed dearly by family and friends alike, though she is no longer suffering.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for family and friends to be determined.
