Lieselotte Collins (Kallweit)

Lieselotte Collins, age 94, of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Vanderbilt, Clarksville Campus.

Lilo, as she was called, was born August 3, 1931 in Germany to the late Josef Kallweit and Emma Rentel. Lilo grew up in Germany during World War II when the Russians invaded and occupied her village. Her family fled on a train with Allied Forces firing at them. She married and immigrated to the US in 1956.

She was predeceased by her husband, Adrian H. Collins; son, Joseph Collins; granddaughter,Jaimee Davis; and son-in-law, Dr. James Danny Davis. She is survived by sons Leeroy (Heather), Jerry (Nancy), Roger (Melissa), daughter Ardie, daughter-in-law Darlene, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held in Tampa at a later date.
