Lenore Ross (Neer)

Lenore Ross, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully into eternal rest on November 19, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on September 9, 1942, she lived a life that overflowed with quiet strength, boundless kindness, and the kind of love that made everyone around her feel truly seen and cherished.

Lenore raised her three daughters—Liz Ross, Leanne (Mike) Pineau, and Lisa (Isaac) Beyor—almost entirely on her own, pouring every ounce of her heart into giving them a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the sweet smell of something baking in the oven. Her hands were never still: tending her beautiful garden that fed both body and soul, stitching quilts and clothes with careful, loving precision, and strong hands that constructed anything her mind set to. To sit with Lenore was to know you were home.

She leaves behind a legacy of love carried on by her adored grandchildren: Trent Beyor, Mark (Maddie) Suiter, Kyle, Jared, and Bryce Pineau, along with her treasured extended family Jamie Clardy, Simone (Eli and Monty) Williamson, and Rosalie Baker. Each of them grew up knowing they had a woman who could be a mothering figure. Whose hugs could fix almost anything and whose gentle words of wisdom still fill their hearts.

Lenore was the truest definition of a beautifully kind woman—soft-spoken yet unbreakable, generous without expectation, and wise in the way only someone who has loved fiercely can be. She made the world gentler simply by being in it.

Though we grieve the empty space she leaves behind, we find comfort knowing she is now at peace, surrounded by the same love she gave so freely. Finally reunited with the many pets she cared for throughout her life. Her garden will keep blooming, her recipes will still be passed down, and her light will live on in every one of us fortunate enough to have been loved by her.

Rest softly, dear Lenore. You were, and always will be, the heart of our family.
