Laurie Heartel Murphy

Laurie Heartel Murphy, age 68, passed away peacefully in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Born on February 2, 1957, in Westfield, New Jersey, Laurie was raised by her loving grandparents. She spent most of her life in the coastal town of Sea Bright, where she found joy in the sun, the sand, and the beauty of a beach side life. The ocean was her happy place, and she could often be found basking in the sun with a smile on her face.

Laurie had a love for gardening and flowers. Whether tending to her plants or simply admiring the blooms around her, she found peace and happiness in nature.

Above all else, Laurie was devoted to her family. She is survived by her children: Amy, Chad, and Brett; son-in-law, Drew; beloved grandchildren: Meghan, Drew, and Willow; and two great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy in her later years.

Laurie’s legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply, and through the simple pleasures she embraced in everyday life.

A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
