Kevin Alan Shaw, 66, passed away on June 20, 2026.

Born on January 20, 1960, in Lansing, Michigan, Kevin lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, compassion, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his caring heart, generous spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

Kevin was a proud member of Teamsters Union Local 26, where he built a career founded on dedication, integrity, and a strong work ethic. He earned the respect of his coworkers through his commitment, reliability, and willingness to lend a helping hand.

To know Kevin was to know someone who never met a stranger. A true social butterfly, he had a gift for making people feel welcome and could always be counted on to share a laugh or tell a story that brightened someone's day. His infectious sense of humor and outgoing personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Outside of work, Kevin found freedom and happiness outdoors. A devoted Harley-Davidson enthusiast, he loved riding his motorcycle and embraced the adventure, independence, and friendships that came with every mile. He also enjoyed boating and camping, finding peace and happiness on the water and around a campfire with family and friends. Whether taking a scenic ride, spending a day on the lake, or gathering with loved ones outdoors, Kevin made the most of every moment and created memories that will be treasured forever.

Above all, Kevin was a devoted father, father-in-law, and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Nicholas Shaw, whose service in the United States Army was a tremendous source of pride for Kevin. He also leaves behind his beloved daughter-in-law, Miika Shaw, and his cherished grandsons, Michael, 17, and Apollo, 14. Kevin treasured the time he spent with his family, and his grandchildren brought him immense pride and happiness. The memories they created together will be cherished forever.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Kevin's legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the friendships he nurtured, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified once arrangements have been finalized.
