It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Joyce Evelyn Williams Terrigino. She peacefully left us on January 4, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born on January 31, 1938, in Bath, South Carolina and lived a full life as a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Ann (Mike) Torrence, sons Anthony James Terrigino, Michael (Patty) Terrigino, Joseph (Dawn) Terrigino and Vincent Terrigino. Grandchildren include Misty (Brad) Depaul, Anthony (Amy) Terrigino Jr, Jason Terrigino, Nicholas (Laura) Terrigino, Amanda (Casey) Gorman, Vincent Terrigino Jr., Sidney Terrigino and Brianna Terrigino. Six great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. She is also survived by her beloved cousins, several nieces and nephews and brother and sisters-in-law.
Joyce was preceded in death by her cherished husband Anthony Vincent Terrigino, parents Alex and Reta Williams, parents in law Michael and Louise Terrigino, brother Cantrell Williams; sisters, Janelle Widner and Betty Jean Williams; several brothers and sisters in law; grandson Roger Michael Torrence III and great granddaughter Kaylie Denea Tallant.
Joyce married Anthony on April 10, 1955, and moved to Rochester New York where they raised their family until 1968 when they entered the US Army and began their travels of the world. She took great pride raising her family and keeping her home spotless, not out of duty, but out of love; believing that a clean space was a gift to those she welcomed inside. Family and friends will remember every polished surface and the comfort of knowing her door was always open, especially for Sunday dinners and holiday gatherings eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. Her home was her sanctuary, a place where her children grew, her grandchildren played and made countless memories.
Her love and guidance will be in our hearts forever. Joyce will be interred with her husband at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, New York on April 10, 2026.
Please visit Joyce's tribute wall and share a memory with the family.
