To My Family

Don’t Cry for me, I am much happier now.

My Lord Jesus called and he could not wait;

My earthly body has passed away.

But my spirit will from you never stray;

My life with you was filled with joy and pain.

But now, I am in Heaven’s employ.

My burdens are light, my heart flows with love.

I’m riding high on the wings of a dove.

I’m much happier now!!

John C. Poynter III, age 67, entered into eternal rest at his home where God was ready to carry him home on Monday, March 24, 2025. He was well known as “Little John” around town. After Glow

I like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun.

Remember me as one that passed this way my family and friends.

And reflect upon happy memories I leave.

Therefore, life for me on earth is done!
