John Wayne Baggett

1965-2021

John Wayne Baggett, age 55 of Cunningham, TN, passed away on May 13, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born July 16, 1965 in Clarksville, TN to James Paul Baggett and Gelena Lee Powell Baggett. John was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School and an avid logger. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and golfing with his nephew.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Lee Baggett. He is survived by his daughter, Brittney (Nathan) Scarborough; brother, Mark (Beth) Baggett, step sons, John Williams, Ryan (Shauna) Williams; grandchildren, Allison Baggett, Matthew Scarborough; five additional grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
