Harrison Oliver Baker

December 23, 1957 — May 9, 2024

Hopkinsville

Harrison Baker was born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Harry and Marguerite Baker. Harrison had an adventurous spirit and would explore beyond the boundaries to discover uncharted territory. He was a high achiever in learning that encouraged him to pursue a career in Nursing. He enjoyed the medical field, working as an emergency medical technician, an ER tech and eventually a nurse. His years of training were a valuable resource for everyone who had a
medical condition. He could diagnose, treat the symptoms, and achieve remarkable results.

Harrison was a traveler. He lived in as many as 10 states and visited most of the United States. His adventurous spirit kept his feet moving and his mind wandering what was around the bend. He played in bands, was a disc jockey, sold cars, and tried his hand in anything that made a dollar.

Harrison has a son, Andy and a daughter, Acacia. His heart was full of love for both. He had unfulfilled dreams that never brought the two together, yet hope was always a driving force. Another love was his grandson, Colin. He was proud to hear about his achievements and progress.

Harrison will be deeply missed by family, friends, and associates. His love will always be felt. His wisdom will always be heard, his laughter will never fade, and his memory will never die.

Rest in peace my brother. You brought joy to our hearts!

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Christian Church, 1741 E. 8th St. Jeffersonville, IN 47130. A repast meal will follow.
