Gloria Ann Brooks (Leitner)

Gloria “Lori” Ann Brooks passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of eighty-six in Clarksville, TN.

Born on January 26, 1940, in Coraopolis PA, Gloria was the cherished daughter of Frank and Ann Leitner. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband David E. Brooks and her son David N. Brooks.

Gloria dedicated 35 years of her professional life to serving students as a special education teacher in the Lakeview School District.

Beyond her career, Gloria enjoyed volunteering at the Catholic church. In her spare time, she watched football and basketball.

Gloria will be remembered for her hard work and dedication to those she loved. Her warm smile and quick wit will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sisters Adele Messer and Mary Lou Leitner, her son Eric (Jonelle) Brooks her grandchildren Quenton (Inessa) Brooks, Christian (Emmie) Brooks, and Erica (Graham) Kesler and her great-grandchildren, Maple and Elias Brooks. Gloria’s family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in each of them.

A service to celebrate Gloria’s life will be held in Pennsylvania, with the date and time to be determined. The family will share further details as arrangements are finalized.

Gloria leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing and strength in the days ahead.
