1933-2021
Franklin Gilliland, age 88, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. He was born Friday, January 13,1933 to the late John A. Gilliland and Mary Frances Gilliland who proceeded him in death.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his sons, Frank A. Gilliland, infant Jason; and three brothers, Joseph Gilliland, John C. Gilliland and Thomas Kingsmill. He is survived by his wife, Ethel of Dickson, TN; children, Diane Evers of North Carolina, Troy Gilliland of Nashville, TN, Elizabeth Gilliland of Dickson, TN; brother, Ben Gilliland (Pam) of Nashville, TN, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Frank served in the Marine Corp. Once a marine, always a marine. He was married to Ethel McLay Gilliland on October 14,1995.
