Fannie Louise Seay was born on November 21, 1947 and transitioned on December 10, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herschel (Tennie) Redd; Jennie B Groomster; son, Herschel Redd II; and husband, Clifford Seay.

She retired from Metro Public Schools. She was a Devoted member of Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church under pastor H. Bruce Maxwell. She graduated from Cameron High School.

She leaves to Cherish warm memories her daughters, Pamela (Kerry) Benford and Kenzella (Thomas) Dixon; grandchildren: Thomas (Diondrea) Dixon, Leshona Russell, Tomasina Dixon, Kerri Benford, Destinee Dixon, and Kerrick Benford; great grandchildren: King Dixon, Tamar Dixon, Carter Dixon, and Kennedy Ennels; a host of nieces and nephews; and devoted friends: Catherine Woodson, Tommy Lou, and Rosie Ward.

God saw you getting tired and the cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered come to me with cheerful eyes we washed you pass away although we loved you dearly we couldn’t make you stay your heart stopped beating in hard-working hands to rest God broke our heart to prove to us it was time you take a rest.
