CPO Cris J Kimmel, NAVY (Ret)

Cris Kimmel passed away September 9, 2025 just a few short weeks after the love of his life, his wife, Teresa Watts Kimmel. He was born July 23, 1957 to Gene E. and Martha Crissey Kimmel in Johnstown PA.

He was a retired Navy veteran.

In addition to his parents, Cris was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa, of 35 years and step-son Joseph Chimahosky, Jr.

He is survived by sons Kevin and David Kimmel, step-daughter Ashley Chimahosky, grandson Peyton Chimahosky, sister in law Dawn (Paul) Scyoc , nieces Nikki Thomas, Katelyn Morris (Drew) Jarrett, and nephew Justin Scyoc.

He was a kind and patient man and will be greatly missed.
