Bobbie Rae (O) Johnson

Bobbie Overton Lowe Johnson, age 81, of Hillsboro, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 15, 2022. Bobbie was devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed all of God’s creations. If she wasn’t bird watching, you could find her tending to her flowers in her beautiful garden. Bobbie cared for many wonderful patients throughout her thirty-year career as a certified nursing assistant. She was a lifetime member of the VFW auxiliary, where she made lifelong friends.

She is preceded in death by her late husband of 40 years, Claude McKinley Lowe; father, William Henry Overton.; mother, Ruth Hill Overton;; sisters: Sara Overton, Patsy Cotter, and Bertha Blank; and brothers, Garland Overton and Arnold Overton. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Johnson of Hillsboro, Ohio; daughter, Rae Jean Hartranft (Lester) of Clarksville, TN; son, Claude David Lowe (Hilary) of Adelaide, Australia; grandchildren: Daniel Daugherty (Lisa) of Gallatin, TN, Amanda Ayers (Christopher) of Nashville, TN, Mark Whitehouse of Conroe, TX, and Zachary Blanketie of Adelaide, Australia; great-grandchildren: Brandon Williams, Kambria Ayers, Madison Daugherty, Silas Ayers, and Griffin Ayers; brothers: Reece James Overton, Carl Overton, and Leonard Overton; sister, Charlene Robertson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
