Billie Jeanne (Brown) Nicolosi

Billie Jeanne Nicolosi, 81, of Clarksville, died peacefully in her sleep Friday, May 19, 2023 at her home following a lengthy illness. Billie attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN, where she received a BSRN in nursing. She fulfilled her pediatric residency at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. Her career in nursing included 30 years at the VA Mountain Home Care facility in Johnson City, TN. Her later position at the VA was serving as Nurse Liaison.

Billie was a lover of life and her interests included history, travel, music, fishing, collectibles, dining out, and concerts. In her younger years she was an accomplished classical pianist. Her life experiences gave her a multitude of stories she loved to tell. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Billie was born on December 6, 1941 Billie Jeanne Brown to her parents, Wallace Brown and Hazel Irene Foster Brown of Bristol, TN. (both deceased). She is survived by her husband, John Nicolosi of Clarksville, TN; sister, Robin Brown Williams of Sevierville, TN; son, Michael (Jessica Metcalf-McNabb)McNabb of Erwin, TN; grandchildren, Clay (Whitney) McNabb and Chase McNabb, both of Erwin, TN; and great grandchildren: Brady Clayton McNabb, Anna Brinlee McNabb, and Ellie Reece McNabb.

At Billie’s request, there will be no service. A Celebration of Life Gathering in her honor will be planned in Clarksville and announced for a time in the future.
