Audrey Jean Dixon (Roberts)

Audrey "Lue" Dixon (Roberts) transitioned to her eternal resting place on May 2, 2025 at home in Clarksville, TN. She was born on February 16, 1957 to Wilbert Roberts and Dorothy Roberts in Pink Hill, NC.

She was fiery, funny, loving, and enjoyed a good laugh whenever possible. For many years she work in the fast food industry as a cashier and her smile made lasting impressions on mostly everyone she came in contact with. She had a love for weather (our local meteorologist), Korean dramas, music, dancing, snacks, and her beloved stuffed bears. Married to Richard Dixon in July 1979, she went on to live a full life of travel, fun, and adventure. Along the way, giving birth to three children.

She is preceded in transition by her parents; husband; and brothers: Wilbert Roberts, Jr., Aubrey Roberts, and Michael Roberts. She leaves behind her daughters, Shanekka Dixon and Chaquinta Dixon (Clarksville, TN); son, Ricardo Dixon (Clarksville, TN); four grandchildren: Coriante Hooker (Kinston, NC), Shyquon Hooker (Durham, NC), Laila Dixon, and Monae Dixon (Clarksville, TN); great granddaughter, Khilya O'Neal-Hooker (Kinston, NC); two sisters, Delores Miller (Depp Run, NC) and Veronica Miller (Fountain, CO); two brothers, David Roberts (Kinston, NC) and Kelvin Roberts (Raleigh, NC); special nieces, Vanessa Martin (New Orleans, LA) and Renita Miller-Reynolds (Snellville, GA); honorary children, Tyler Reed and Andrea Peeples (Kinston, NC); and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and close friends.
