Alan Irwin Nitkin

Alan I. Nitkin, 64, of Clarksville, TN passed in his home on November 19, 2025. Alan was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1961 to Herbert Wolf Nitkin and Nam Kyeong Ja (Nancy). He graduated from Crockett High School in Austin, Texas (class of 1979). He then honorably served in the US Navy. He spent much of his life as an aspiring chef.

He will be remembered for his passions for cooking, poker, disc golf, and music he could really get down to. He enjoyed Texas Longhorns football and the LA Rams, but he loved nothing more than his family. He regularly asserted that there is nothing more important than the ones you care about and making sure they know they are loved.

Alan is survived by his children: Damien Aaron Nitkin (and wife, Beth), Harrison Michael Funk (and wife, Alethea), Adam Wolf Nitkin, Alana Nicole Nitkin (and fiance, Matthew), and Alyssa Nam Nitkin (and husband, Mario); grandchildren: Scarlet, Rafael, and Lilith; siblings: Mark, Karen, and Sharon; and extended family and close friends: Chasity Krupko (formerly Nitkin) and Sam Johnson.

Private services will be held on November 27, 2025 at Belleglade Community in Clarksville, TN.
